Michael Tiger Cane Chair

Our French Cane Chair is imagined with tigers in a heavyweight jacquard fabric of a mohair-like texture and low luster sheen. The rest of the chair is wrapped with a soft olive velvet with contrast double piping in cinnabar. The solid wood carved frame is finished in an ebony stain while the cane is lacquered to protect its natural beauty. An embroidered ribbon trim running down the centre of the chair completes the design. 

Our Michael Armchair enhances the natural beauty of a traditional empire armchair by adding caned wicker side paneling. Combining an airy, relaxed feel with its formal style, a marrying of cultures and mixing handwoven with hand carved this piece is exquisite. First discovered buried with Egyptian pharaohs, wicker had a massive resurgence in the furnishings of the 1970s and are now back in vogue.
