Size guide
Use this guide as a general reference for selecting the right rug size based on your room dimensions. Proper sizing helps define your space, create balance, and enhance the overall aesthetic. Small Living Room
Furniture legs off the rugs:
For smaller living rooms, such as those with a condo-sized sofa, a more budget-friendly option, or a preference for keeping furniture off the rug (aside from a central coffee table), a 4' x 6'or 5' x 8'rug is ideal.
Medium Living Room
Front legs on, back legs off:
Positioning the front legs of your furniture on the rug while keeping the back legs off helps create a cohesive look and a balanced sense of proportion. A 5' x 8'or 8' x 10'rug works well for this layout.
Large Living Room
All legs on the rug:
Create a unified, well-defined space by placing all furniture legs on the rug. Opt for an 8' x 10'rug for condo sectionals or a 9' x 12'rug for larger sectionals or extra-wide sofas.
Small Dining Area
"Table For Four Please!"
5’ x 8’ rugs are a good choice for smaller sized dining tables with 4 chairs.
Medium Dining Area
Round or Square Table Seating Four to Six
Rectangular rugs work under round or square tables but, a 7’ to 8’ round rug is a better match.
Large Dining Area
Table for Six to Eight
An 8’ x 10 or 9’ x 12’ rug will work under such a table, fit for a feast!
Twins
Since twin beds are small, take the bed’s positioning and overall size of the room into consideration.
Anarea rug 2' x 3' to 4' x 6' by the side of the bed would be a nice start.
If you have two twin beds in the same room, a 9’ x 12’ works wonderfully to pull the look together.
Doubles
Laying a 5' x 8' rug horizontally under the bed is your best option here.
You may also have some of the floor exposed on the top for your nightstands.
Let your room size and personal preference dictate just how much rug you want showing at the foot of the bed.
Queens & Kings
Both an 8’ x 10’ and 9’ x 12’ rug will work for Queen sized beds. The larger rug also has the effect of making your room appear bigger.
A King size bed calls for at least an 8’ x 10’ but preferably an 9’ x 12’. Anything smaller will appear out of proportion.

For those allergic to wool, elect for our Jute or Bamboo Rugs.
Jute is a hardy, vegetable fiber.
Bamboo has a silky hand and a gentle lustre to catch the light in subtle ways.
Our Outdoor Rugs in Polypropylene is easy to maintain, highly durable, UV, mildew and water resistant.
