French Louis XV Settee

An antique Louis XV period French settee is refashioned in a highly ornate fabric combination. Undulating feathers of intricate nuance are digitally printed onto a soft, pure cotton and paired with two striped tone-on-tone sateen. There are not just one but three colours of contrast piping that swirls around the settee throughout.

The Rococo style frame is of solid carved wood. Cartouche-shaped seat back are gently angled for comfort with central medallion on the crest rail. The seat rests Cabriole legs.

Structurally, the settee is redone with new coil springs and new seat foam insert wrapped in feather-down. Needless to say, this madame has received more than just a facelift
