French Striped Satin Chair

This antique Louis XV period French armchair is now showing its stripes in more ways than one with alternating tone on tone in Sateen. There are not just one but three colours of contrast piping that swirls around the chair throughout.

The Rococo style frame is of solid carved wood. Cartouche-shaped seat back are gently angled for comfort with central medallion on the crest rail. The seat rests Cabriole legs.

Structurally, the chair is redone with new coil springs and new seat foam insert wrapped in feather-down. Needless to say, this mademoiselle has gotten more than just a facelift
