From our Bespoke Upholstered Furniture Collection, the Bergère is an iconic design that originated in Paris during the French Régence (1715–23) and reached its height during Rococo period, when King Louis XV reigned. It is designed to expose its wood curved frame with carved details. Ideal for lounging in comfort with its deeper, wider, tailored seat and padded elbow-rests.

All prices are variable and determined by fabric selection, and other customizations of your choosing. Price Shown is with solid colour, baseline fabric. Customize your own with custom upholstery and custom stained, or painted legs available.We have a wide range of family/ pet-friendly, stain-resistant textiles to high-end wovens, & prints to accommodate your wishes. The seat cushion is done in high density foam for long lasting support. You may upgrade the seat insert with feather-envelope, down-envelope or faux down-envelope for more generous cushioning.

In the spirit of its Maximalist roots, we turned this classic on its head with our over-the-top combination of modern fabrics. The seat and back cushions are covered in a durable 100% cotton satin, milled in the UK. Striking leopard-spotted elephants takes centre stage, inspired by Jules Verne's adventure stories. Leaping gazelles, birds of paradise and curious foliage also feature in this illustrated African fantasy by a British designer. Available in other colourways and also as wallpaper. 

A diamond jacquard in technicolour completes the rest of the Bergère and topped with contrast piping.

Solid wood frame is stained in navy blue.
