If you foolishly ignore beauty, you will soon find yourself without it. But if you invest in beauty, it will remain with you all the days of your life – Frank Lloyd Wright
Victoria Hadden developed an interest in the visual arts during weekly visits to Paris’s Louvre Museum in the early ‘70s, and further exposure to great European art, architecture, and gardens laid the foundation for an appreciation and passion for beauty.
A native of Hamilton, Hadden studied at the Victoria College of Art in the fine arts studio program. Her cultural experiences on the nation’s prairies, the west coast, SE Asia, India, and in rural Ontario melded to inform a unique and dynamic expression.
Hadden has presented in a number of solo and group shows and is pursuing her professional art practice seeking new opportunities to create and exhibit.
She lives in Toronto’s Cabbagetown district restoring an arts and crafts home and playing an active role in community life. Her work is exhibited in juried, group community, and solo shows.
